S2B BP | Steps to Beach

The Blue Pavilion provided a relaxing and rewarding experience. Positive: The Blue Pavilion is a gem. The facility is strategically located near West Bay attractions including the Turtle Center, Dolphin Cove, Tortuga Rum Distillery (distillery closed post-covid, but store open for rum cakes, etc.), and Cracked Conch restaurant. The bus stop located at the corner of West Bay Road and Church St was a 2-minute walk at most. The public buses were safe and provided total access to the West Bay and George Town attractions we visited. From the bus stop, you could cross West Bay Road and literally be at the ocean. The beach was just a short walk away. The Blue Pavilion itself was nestled in a quiet, almost rural-like, setting off of Church Street. Even though the property is located on McDoom Lane, McDoom Lane seemed more like a long private driveway. The surrounding was quite pleasant and peaceful. Our 2B suite included notable amenities like a kitchen, washer/dryer, living room, bathroom, and queen size bedroom. The suite was modern and meticulously clean. The large-screen Samsung television was located in the living room. It was set for streaming, so you could access your streaming services, ex. Netflix, by logging in (just make sure to delete your streaming app data before you leave). We stayed in suite 2 which included bedrooms 2A and 2B. The bedrooms were private and secure, but the other areas were shared. Some may view this as a caveat, but we had no issues with sharing the suite. The property manager was simply awesome. Tricia kept us well informed during our stay. She responded immediately to inquiries. Negative: Nothing to say here. The experience was all positive. If I nitpick, it rained during a portion of our trip which we adjusted our activities. The weather can be a nuisance anywhere.
